Airway Heights City departments are listed to assist you in gaining information or finding a solution. Here's where to go for the following:

Building Department
The Building Department is responsible for permit issuance within city limits as well as enforcing applicable adopted building codes.

Planning Department
The Planning Department handles all short and long range planning; provides maps, and develops and administers the City's Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Regulations.

Finance/Utilities
Financial operations for the City; Utility Department and all issues relating to finance including the budget process. Notary services are available. The Utility portion contains information about the mailing of Water and Sewer bills and who to contact.

Fire
Fire department news, staffing, training schedules for firefighters, and a listing of important roles that the fire department fulfills.

Police
Law enforcement, community programs, code enforcement, contact information for staff, news and events for the Department.

Municipal Court
A Court of Limited Jurisdiction which handles civil infractions, criminal misdemeanors, and gross misdemeanors. They do not handle any felony matters, civil anti-harassment or civil protection orders, name changes, small claims, civil cases, or impounds, which are handled by the Spokane County District Court or Superior Court. The Judge works part-time and has the ability to marry people; please contact the court for more information concerning availability.  The Court also has 2 full-time staff and 1 part-time clerk along with a probation department that handles probation services.

Parks & Recreation
Programs for people of all ages. Listings of parks, recreation center events, and children and adult sports leagues.

Public Works Department
The Public Works Department is responsible for streets, sewer and water system management, as well as the Water Reclamation Facility for the City.
